South Cheltenham Team Benefice

Pip and Jim’s  is part of a wider team of churches across South Cheltenham.  We work with CNC Emmanuel, St Peters, St Stephen’s and St Christopher’s to provide ministry across the South Cheltenham area.

Churches in the team:

  • St. Christopher’s is a modern church situated in the mainly residential area of Warden Hill in south Cheltenham. It is a part of the South Cheltenham Team of churches in the Diocese of Gloucester. Please see the website for details of services and events.

  • St Stephen’s Church is part of the Church of England in the Diocese of Gloucester, which is part of the world wide Anglican Communion, and is one of 5 churches in the South Cheltenham Team Ministry. The church office can be contacted at ststephenstivoli@gmail.com

St Stephen’s is the Parish Church of Tivoli, Cheltenham and is the smallest parish in the Cheltenham Deanery.

The worshiping community at St Stephen’s rejoices in the knowledge that God works through those whom he has called to be his disciples, and counts it a privilege to work for Him in this parish, this town and through the worldwide Church.

St Stephen’s welcome you to join them for the Eucharist, the centre of their worship, celebrated every Sunday at 10am (sung Eucharist, contemporary language) and at 10.30am on Wednesday.

  • CNC Emmanuel Church is located at the heart of the community in the Naunton Park area of Cheltenham. We believe church is for everyone. IIt should inspire, encourage, nurture and enable. Each Sunday we gather to think, pray, sing and listen. So that in song or silence, in prayer or pondering, in church or the community we can grow closer to God and to each other and make a positive difference in the world. We have Communion Services each Sunday at 8am and 10am and Thursday at 10.30am. Please see the website for more details of service times

  • St Peter’s is a beautiful, quiet and peaceful place to visit and to pray; it is also a joyful place for weddings and baptisms, and a holy place where people can come for funerals or to lay their loved ones to rest.
