To our local community –
This is your chance to add your voice to the plans for the future direction of Pip and Jim’s.
You may not attend the church every Sunday but I know that there are many people who live locally, visit occasionally, and feel a sense of ownership over their local church.
As you will be aware, we have recently completed a big redesign which has opened the space up to the local community for events ranging from classical concerts to BBC Any Questions? and even beer festivals!
It has been a real delight to me to hear people say that they have visited the church more in the last six months than they have in the last 10 years. The Church of England aspires to serve the whole of the local community and not just those who turn-up for services on a Sunday and I hope that we are starting to do that here.
Now that the redesign is complete, we are developing a longer-term strategy for our Church and community space and we would like to get your views on how we can make the best use of the space as a community asset.
We would be very grateful if you would take 5 minutes to complete a short survey, preferably online here. If you are unable to do it online, there is a paper version available from the church which should then be dropped into the church letterbox on the ramp.
Please note that the questionnaire is completely anonymous and that the results will be presented in a way that individuals cannot be identified. The deadline for completion is 15 May 2022.
We are also holding two meetings for members of the local community and very much hope that you will be able to come to one of them.
Join us for a sandwich on Thursday 9 June 12.15-2pm

Please respond to the invitation by emailing: email@example.com with your name(s) and the event that you would like to attend.
I look forward to seeing you.
