We have a network of community groups meeting on a monthly basis for fellowship, prayer and reflection. Some meet in people’s homes, others in cafes and pubs on the Bath Road.
If you would like to learn more about these groups and find out when they meet, please contact Nicki Lambert firstname.lastname@example.org.
There are several small groups meeting on a regular basis at different times during the week in a variety of venues.
All of these groups are open to anyone who might like to come a group (subject only to be there being sufficient space).

Monday Morning Group
We start with coffee and chat at 10.00ish after which we usually reflect together on a bible passage often the Gospel reading from the Sunday before. We have also studied some of the C of E ‘Pilgrim” booklets as well as books by well-known authors such as John Pritchard, Paula Gooder, John Bell, Judy Hirst etc. We have longish breaks for Lent, Easter, Summer holidays and Christmas. We aim to finish by 11.45 a.m. We feel strongly that listening to each other’s ideas and experiences is important for our pilgrim journey.

Wednesday Evening Group
This group runs in parallel with the Thursday afternoon group, and meets fortnightly at 7.30p.m. during “term” times at the home of Jenny and Paul Youde at 107 Painswick Road. We are a warm and friendly bible-based study and discussion group, and to give examples, we have looked at the week’s Gospel Reading, a York Course, a Lifebuilder Series Course, and the Pilgrim Course. Members who are not able to attend on a Wednesday evening have the option of attending the Thursday afternoon group that week.

We meet at 8.00.p.m. on the 1st and 3rd Thursday evenings during school term time at the home of one of our members which varies from meeting to meeting normally decided for childcare reasons. Usually we have refreshments and chat (often about our young families) before starting some study by 8.30 p.m. for just over an hour. Recently we have followed a Church Army. ‘Faith in Pictures’ Course and also ‘The “I am” Sayings of Christ’, (a Lifebuilder Bible Study from the Scripture Union.).
