Following discussion at our Annual Meeting, the Church Council considered again the issue of where we will worship when Church is closed for the reordering in 2018 (subject to DAC approval). This is likely to be for a minimum of nine months. We identified two principles; consistency of venue and that pastorally it is important for us to remain as a distinct congregation. We also considered the range of our worship. We decided to explore further being at Cheltenham, College most Sundays and being at St James school on the first Sunday of the month. To explore this further, as a whole congregation, we are going to try out these venues in October. On 1st October for Harvest Festival we will worship at St James school at 10am and on 15th October we will worship at Cheltenham College chapel. This will allow all of us to explore this further. Do speak to members of the Church Council if you have thoughts on this matter.
