We have had the pleasure of welcoming 7 Angolan Students to our 10 am Family Service. There are about 20 Students based at the Park Campus, undertaking courses, ranging from 9 months to nearly 2 years. One of the students, Katia, emailed Nick to thank him for the friendly welcome they had received. Nick and Liz have since been in contact with Katia and the group and the date now fixed for the meal is Monday evening, 14th December 2015, in Church House from 7pm.
Christine Barlow has offered to prepare the main course, Hazel is making apple crumble and Daphne is using her freezer to store the goodies. We will need volunteers to help to serve the meal, as well act as welcoming hosts. There is a list at the back of Church. Please sign up, so that we can show Christ’s image, as well as find his image in our fellow Christians from Angola. Liz Mitchell
