We continue to make progress developing our reordering plans. During the past month we have hosted visits from the Diocesan Advisory Committee, The Church Buildings Council, the Ancient Monuments Society, the Victorian Society and Historic England (formerly English Heritage). We have now received written feedback from all these, except the Church Buildings Council. Inevitably, these organisations have expressed some queries and are challenging certain aspects of our plans, and have requested additional details. However, we are encouraged that we can address their concerns and negotiate a successful reordering proposal.
We are also in the process of appointing a structural engineer to advise our architects on the technical aspects of the new structures proposed for the reordering.
