Little Pips is the church run ‘stay and play’ group for children aged 0-4 and their carers. It happens on Friday mornings during term time 9.45-11.30am. It is a very popular group, an average of 20 families attending per week. The majority of Little Pips users do not regularly worship at P&J. It is a community engagement project that connects the church with people in their 20s and 30s (a missing demographic in church life) on a weekly basis!
We have no doubt that the congregation are very pleased that this ministry is taking place. However, it is run by a very small team whose combined age puts us at three centuries worth of experience!! That’s a lot of years!
We really need some more people to get involved on a regular basis – perhaps not every week but possibly every other week. Can you please speak to Natalie, Veronica Brodie or Cathy Pearce if you’d like to know more and get involved.
