A New Venture in Mission

Visit of the Rev Fadi Diab and his wife Ruba, June 30 – July 6 2015

Fadi Diab is the Anglican priest at St Andrew’s, Ramallah in Palestine, and on 26 October 2014 the Pilgrimage group to the Holy Land joined the congregation there for Sunday Worship.  Fadi and Ruba have now been invited to come to Cheltenham to discuss the idea of forming a Partnership with P and J, and we were delighted when they accepted.

The purpose of their visit is to find out who we are and what we do, and to discuss together what a Partnership could mean for us all.

Roger Symon will be preaching about this exciting new venture at the 10.0am Service on Sunday June 14, and why it is such an important part of our Christian responsibilities.

These are the main events open to all:

Thursday July 2
“The Israel-Palestine Crisis – what next for the Churches?” Open Meeting with talk by Fadi. 7.30pm, Fulwood Solarium, Park Campus.

Saturday July 4
“Where now?” A general discussion with Fadi and Ruba on Partnership. For the Holy Land Pilgrims and all others interested. 7.30/7.45pm Church House.  Please sign the list at the back of the Church if you wish to come.

10.00am Holy Communion at P and J. Fadi will preach. The Service will be followed by Q and A over Coffee.
