Nick wanted to thank everyone who has played a part in our Christmas celebrations. There are so many people whose hard work, often quietly undertaken, ensures that this is a welcoming place for all of our Christmas celebrations. Thank you for all you have done and your part in blessing our local community this Christmas. One a personal note, Natalie, Liz and I also thank you for the many cards and good wishes that we have received and wanted to wish all of you every blessing for Christmastide and 2017.
Thank you – Advent Thought for the Day
Thank you to the 28 people who prepared a thought for the day during the advent season. At the time of writing the videos have been view over 10,300 times and have been greatly received and have also reached a new audience who are not necessarily connected to our church. The videos are still available to watch either through our Facebook page, www.facebook.com/pg/pipandjims/videos or through our website, www.pipandjims.org.uk/news/.
Thank you – volunteers
A big thank you to everyone who volunteered to be stewards, readers, audio, serve refreshments and filled many other roles for our Christmas services. It was very much appreciated and it meant that the services ran smoothly. Thank you.
CAMELOT Christmas Party Thanks
A splendid Christmas Party was held on 20 December, with a festive meal, beautifully cooked and presented. Everyone enjoyed the carol singing led by Ginnie Paget, who also read some favourite poems and the presence of Santa [Ho ho ho], complete with presents for everyone. An enormous vote of thanks to Christine and Adrian Barlow, Philippa and Belinda, for energy, enthusiasm and great teamwork, in providing us with a great meal.
