South Cheltenham Churches ‘Time to Listen’ – Next gathering
Thursday 22 March, 10am – 3pm at St Peter’s Cottages, Leckhampton
At our next gathering, we are delighted that Bishop Bob Evens has agreed to lead our Lenten Quiet Day. The title for the day is ‘Growing closer to the God who loves you’ and between Bishop Bob’s Reflections, we shall have times for quiet and prayerful reflection and an informal Eucharist before we go home at the end of the day. Lent is, and always has been, set aside as an opportunity to ‘get serious’ about our faith, to seek out ways of ‘attending’, listening to our God in an effort to grow closer to Him and understand more fully how, as an individual and as a Church, He loves us and how we may serve Him in the world.
Do join us for this event, planned for the South Cheltenham Churches, but to which all are welcome. Bring a Bible, a packed lunch (and a cushion if you feel the need) Drinks will be provided. Reserve a place by phoning St Peter’s Church Office any weekday morning 01242 513647. Contact John and Rachael Willard if you need a lift. 01242 530051
