We meet on the 2nd and the 4th Wednesdays each month, to make rolls, welcome strangers and make a loaf to take home to bake. We also enjoy eating the rolls, with tea or coffee, with any guests. Our next meetings at Bethesda are on:
Wednesday 28 February at 9.30am
Wednesday 14 March at 9.30am
Wednesday 28 March at 9.30am
We are very happy to have more bread makers – let’s grow the group! You are welcome to come along and watch or try out a session first. Full instructions will be given, so previous experience is not essential. Laughter is guaranteed – we enjoy each other’s company and learn from each other. We meet in the Hall at Bethesda; entrance is gained by the side door [the entrance used for polling]. Please bring your apron and a container to hold your loaf to take home to cook at home. NB – it is wise to remove any rings which have stones in them: we are not responsible for any dislodgement – or loss of them in the bread dough.
I am also looking for Prayer partners. These very important people are needed to pray regularly for the work that we are doing, as we grow the outreach. Again, there will be an opportunity to come and see what we are doing at Bethesda – and to try out the product, which is ready to taste from about 10.30 am. Just turn up!
Any questions, please contact me [details on back page of News for the Pews]. Liz Mitchell
