On Ascension Day there will be a team outing to the Cathedral and the well blessing at Bisley. Bishop Rachel has invited Churches to drop into the Cathedral to pray for the future of the diocese. There is also a traditional well blessing ceremony at Bisley, followed by a cream tea provided by their Mothers Union. There will be a Communion service at St Philip and St James at 09.30, the coach will leave at 10.30 and we will return around 16.30. Please bring a packed lunch and be aware that there are steep roads in Bisley. Cost tbc but in the region of £5/head. Please book your place on the coach by emailing or ringing Laura: 573508 email@example.com. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. There will be no evening service at St Philip and St James or St Stephen’s but there will be at St Peter’s and St Christopher’s. For those with more energy, prayers will be said at the top of Leckhampton Hill for our town at 19.30, further details to follow!
